Making Loft Conversion, Simple!

A large percentage of properties locally were built initially with very high roofs. This has allowed a lot of people to take advantage and gain extra space without costly extra building work. Of course, the space can be tailored entirely to your needs, be this a spare bedroom, storage, or even a living space for a child or relative. We work with you at every step of your loft conversion to get the exact result you want.

Simple Conversions

A simple conversion in most cases will not change the roofline from the exterior of your house, save the addition of windows in which to allow for natural light. A simple conversion will maintain the sloped roofs common in every loft or attic, but make the space liveable, with conventional floors and walls.

Hip to
Gable

Most homes have what is known as hipped roofs – where all slides slope inwards towards a central point. A conversion to a gable end takes one or both sides to having a flat, upright wall which can help add a very generous amount of space to any loft conversion.

Conversion Access

One of the larger challenges when converting a loft or attic, is to decide where you would like your access. This can come in the shape of another staircase, folding loft staircases which can be retracted back into the ceiling, or even a simple ladder depending on your needs.
